About the Youthwork Stream

Everyone studying at Equippers College chooses a Ministry Stream as a focus for their study, whatever Academic Programme they are enrolled in.

There is a lot to learn in the process of becoming a safe, effective, and positive influence with young people. It’s not just head knowledge. The Youthwork stream has been developed to provide you with the opportunity develop the real-world skills and attitudes needed when working in youth development.

Students are taught how they can impact their world and are equipped for a life of influence, the skills that are learnt during the year are transferrable and help students pursue ministry, further study or employment.
