Q: How long does the course run for?


  • Our Academic Program (Certificate in Christian Ministry - Internship) runs from February to November.

Q: What is the difference between the Leadership Stream and the Worship Stream?


  • The difference between both streams is primarily in the practical ministry in which the students will be involved in. Within the Leadership Stream, the lectures give weight to the development of leadership skills and character, outworked in the practical ministry. Within the Worship Stream, students will have specialised training, development of creative abilities and sharpening of their creative craft.

Q: What is the weekly schedule like?


  • Typical week: 2 days of lectures & 3 days of practical application (including serving across Sunday services)

Q: I am a parent needing childcare, what are the options?


  • We have our very own Early Learning Centre right next to our College facility. Equipperskids Early Learning Centre is a Christian Centre offering quality care and caters for 3 months to 5 yrs old. College students are also granted a fees discount. Q: I am an international student, do I need an English Proficiency Exam to be accepted into Equippers College?


Note: If you are from an English Speaking country you do not need to provide an English Proficiency test.

Q: Where can I find accommodation in Auckland?


  • Though Equippers College does not officially provide accommodation, we are committed to helping our students to find the most suitable place to live. If you require accommodation please notify us and we will endeavour to assist you.

Q: Does Equippers College offer scholarships?


  • Unfortunately, we do not currently have provisions for scholarships at our College.

Q: Are all conference tickets included in my tuition fees?


  • For international students, Equippers College's tuition fees will include tickets to SHOUT Conference and EquipHer Conference or Stronger Conference. However, for domestic students, conference ticket fees are not included in tuition.

Q: What is the student complaints procedure?


  • Equippers College adheres to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. This requires Equippers College to have an internal grievance procedure (which is available in the Student hand book), having done this and the issue still remained unresolved, students are able to contact NZQA to take the matter further through the Student Contract Dispute Resolution Scheme (DRS).
