A Typical Week
Monday & Tuesday
Devotions plus morning and afternoon classes for all students.
Wednesday*
Supervised placements in a church department serving alongside an experienced ministry leader. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to a range of exciting opportunities and ministry contexts.
* Wednesday – Reynella Campus and Findon Campus
Friday – Murray Bridge students
Other participating church may choose to have the required Ministry Placement Day on another (non-lecture) day.
Sunday
Serving on Sunday teams across Sunday Services.
The course is full-time by design. This is a strategic decision to ensure students are fully immersed in the church environment and culture of Equippers – accelerating the kind of holistic growth that simply cannot happen in a part-time setting.
Ministry Placement
At Equippers College, you will study the Word, participate in a ministry placement, and grow in community together.
The Ministry Placement is designed to help people realise their gifts, passions, and purpose. Students gain learning from a range of structured lectures and hands-on practical ministry experiences. Student will be supervised by experienced ministry leaders. Student placement makes what they are learning in class relevant and memorable. Students are taught how they can impact their world and are equipped for a life of influence. The skills that are learnt during the year are transferable and help students pursue ministry, further study or employment.

All are leaders who are actively serving in ministry and bring real-world experience into the classroom. Their experience spans church leadership, missions, ministry, and leadership development, giving students the opportunity to learn from well-known leaders who are making an impact both in Australia and internationally.

College has impacted me this year with confidence in my faith, knowledge of the bible and my knowledge of Jesus’ character.
Through lectures, assignments and chapel time I have grown in my knowledge of God’s character and heart which has flowed into how I walk every day.

Equipper’s College has impacted me so much this year! I’ve been a full time mum of 3 little cherubs for quite some time now, and have loved it.
What a privilege it has been to take a step of faith this year and study. This year has been a year of unlocking gifting that God has given me, only realising that I had put them on the shelf for a while. This year I have been dusting them off and am excited to run after all that God has in store for me in this next chapter.
This year has shifted my thinking of the bible, the context of it and history. I’m excited to impart what I have learnt to my owns kids and for the generations to come. Equippers college will impact you, stretch you and even unlock gifting that may have sat dormant for a while, but honestly it will be one of the best years of your life and you won’t regret it!!
